So… We made it to Spain! Officially checked off the fifth continent I have now travelled through/in.
Over the past 48 hours I have eaten Belizean food in Belize, Mexican food in Mexico, and dinner is about to be served in the villa we are staying at in Spain.
Anyhow, we only have five days here, and then the adventure really kicks in – Morocco!
I have mentioned to a few people, but as this is such a strict Mu5lim country we are seriously restricted with what we’re allowed to say online. This means any words that one would associate with a ‘Sunday morning meeting’ are off limits for the next two months.
To get around this, we can just substitute a letter for a number, underscore etc.
However, it also means that just to stay safe (and for the safety of our cont4cts as well) we’ll be staying off Facebook – you’re just going to have to subscribe to the blog to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the adventure.
Can’t promise how much internet we’ll get, or how often I’ll be able to post, but I’ll do my best to keep you informed of the journey and adventures we take.
Again, I want to stress that Morocco is very serious about their rel1gion, so please please be careful when posting anything. Also, your pr4yers are very much appreciated. We’ll be heading into some heavy situations and places, and your support in lifting us up will make all the difference.
I love you!
PS. Who knew that the Moroccans don’t really speak English? Not me… Here’s to learning a heap of French over the next two months, and hopefully a little more Spanish as well 🙂
I love your blogs. Thank you for painting us a picture of the YWAM adventure.

Hi Karen!
So glad you are loving it – the whole point is to keep people up to date and give an insight into what life is like, so basically just swap out anything I do and pretend it’s Mitch and you’re good! 😉
I’ll write as much as I can, and am keeping a journal of my times here as well. That way, if anything happens that I might not be able to post about while we’re still in the country, I can just write it up afterwards!
